Historic Preservation – Rhode Island Daughters of the American Revolution

Rhode Island DAR members have dedicated many hours to maintaining and serving as docents for the historic Daggett House in Pawtucket, and the Bristol Old Jail at the Bristol Historical & Preservation Society, among other properties.

Additional efforts in historic preservation range from cemetery cleanups, to sponsoring a major supporting grant for the restoration of the steps of the Westerly Armory, to support of the Varnum House Museum in East Greenwich and the South County Museum in Narragansett.
