What is a Junior Member?
Junior Members of are the future of the DAR!
A Junior is a DAR member between the ages of 18 and 35 years of age. She holds full DAR membership, and when qualified, may serve as an officer or committee chair at the chapter, state, and national levels.
Junior Members are busy women. Some of them are students, some are forging carers, and some are starting families. All of them are looking for ways to make new friends, and to donate some of their time to community service.
The Junior Membership Committee works to raise funds for the Helen Pouch Memorial Fund and awards scholarships for local teachers. The Helen Pouch Memorial Fund donates thousands of dollars to schools around the country.
